Training Agreement – Terms & Conditions
This Agreement must be signed and returned within 3 days to confirm your registration. Failure to do so may result in forfeiting your spot in the class.
This Agreement reflects your commitment to a specific training program and constitutes a legally binding contract between you (“Student”) and Life Purpose Institute, Inc. (“LPI”).
1. Tuition & Payment
- Tuition must be paid in full, or a signed LPI-approved payment plan must be in place before starting class.
- Certificates of Completion are issued only after all tuition and fees have been paid.
- Students on payment plans remain fully responsible for all payments, even if they withdraw or do not complete the program. (See Section 4.)
- The non-refundable registration fee is $250 and is included in the total tuition.
Payment Plan Terms
If you elect to use a payment plan, you agree to make all scheduled payments on time, according to the agreed-upon schedule. Payment plans are not subject to cancellation after class has begun, and all scheduled payments remain due in full even if you withdraw or stop attending. LPI reserves the right to charge late fees and pursue collections on delinquent accounts in accordance with Section 2 of this Agreement.

2. Delinquent Accounts
If a Student’s account becomes past due, the following terms apply:
- A 10-day grace period will be granted after each scheduled due date.
- If payment is not received within the grace period, a late fee equal to 1.5% of the outstanding balance will be assessed for each month (or part thereof) that the account remains delinquent.
- LPI reserves the right to withdraw the Student from the program if the account remains unpaid after 30 days, with forfeiture of any payments already made.
- Certificates of Completion will not be issued until the account is paid in full.
- Accounts that remain unpaid for 90 days or more may be referred to a collection agency for recovery.

3. Grievances
Students must submit grievances in writing to support@lifepurposeinstitute.com, clearly stating the issue. LPI is committed to working with you toward a positive resolution.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. However, due to the planning, limited class sizes, and resources dedicated to each Student, the following policies apply:
a. Within 30 Days of Class Start Date
- Cancellations or withdrawals less than 30 days before the start of class are not eligible for refunds or transfers.
- Students on a payment plan remain fully responsible for completing all scheduled payments as agreed, even if they withdraw.
b. After Class Has Begun
- Once the class has started, no refunds or transfers are permitted.
- If you wish to withdraw after class begins, you must notify LPI at support@lifepurposeinstitute.com in writing as soon as possible.
c. More than 30 Days Before Class Start Date
- If you cancel your enrollment more than 30 days before the class start date, any tuition already paid will be refunded minus the $250 non-refundable registration fee.
d. Chargebacks
- Any attempt to reverse tuition payments through your credit card company (chargeback) will be contested, and LPI reserves the right to enforce all agreed-upon tuition obligations per this Agreement.
Exceptions to this policy may only be made at the sole discretion of LPI in extraordinary circumstances.

5. Program Rescheduling and Class Cancellations
If LPI reschedules or cancels a program due to unforeseen circumstances — such as natural disasters, instructor illness, insufficient enrollment, or other events beyond LPI’s reasonable control — the Student may choose to transfer to any future session of the same program type and format at no additional charge, or receive a full refund of tuition already paid.

6. Attendance & Make-up Policy
- Students are required to attend at least 80% of live class time for 60-hour programs and the Advanced Coaching program to be eligible for certification.
- Students are responsible for reviewing recordings of any missed classes.
- Up to 2 hours of missed live class time may be made up via one-on-one instruction at $100 per hour, subject to LPI and instructor approval.
- Students unable to meet the attendance requirement or complete required make-up sessions will be withdrawn.

7. Confidentiality
All personal and shared class information is kept confidential by LPI and handled in accordance with ICF accreditation requirements. Recordings are for educational purposes only, required to be retained by LPI for ICF accreditation audits, and not for distribution.

8. Professional Conduct
Students are expected to:
- Treat others respectfully, professionally, and without discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, religion, age, or any other protected characteristic.
- Keep all agreements and appointments.
- Resolve conflicts constructively.
- Abstain from alcohol, drugs, or inappropriate behavior during class. LPI has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, or unprofessional conduct and reserves the right to suspend or withdraw students for such behavior or unresolved personal issues that impede participation. Refund decisions in such cases are at LPI’s discretion.

9. Program Certification Requirements
60-Hour Programs
- Students must complete and submit all coursework, homework assignments, and peer coaching sessions within 4 weeks of the final class
- Practice coaching sessions and the related documentation must be completed and submitted within 3 months of the final class session.
- Extensions for completing certification requirements and submitting the related documentation up to 6 months incur a $150 fee. Extensions up to 12 months incur a $300 fee. LPI will not accept practice session documentation submission beyond 12 months of the last class session.
Advanced Coaching Program
- Students enrolled in the Advanced Coaching program must complete all coursework, assignments, and practice requirements within 12 months of the final class session.

10. Level 1 and Level 2 Mentoring and Evaluation Requirements
Level 1 Mentoring
- Students must also complete their 10 individual mentoring sessions and required evaluation within 6 months of starting mentoring. Requests for extensions must be made in writing to LPI prior to the deadline and may incur additional fees.
Level 1 Mentoring
- Students must attend all 7 hours of group mentoring sessions in order to receive credit toward certification.
- Students must also complete their 3 individual mentoring sessions and required evaluation within 6 months of starting the group mentoring portion. Requests for extensions must be made in writing to LPI prior to the deadline and may incur additional fees.

11. Intellectual Property & Licensing
- Students are granted a limited license to use LPI materials in their own private coaching practice only after certification.
- Training others using LPI materials, reproducing, distributing, or incorporating LPI programs into other courses or institutions without a signed licensing agreement and paid licensing fee is prohibited.
- Students who withdraw or fail to complete the program may not use LPI materials in any capacity.

12. Amendments
LPI reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time if deemed necessary to reflect changes in policies, accreditation requirements, or legal obligations. Students will be notified of any material changes that affect their obligations under this Agreement.
13. Reasonable Accommodation
LPI is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to qualified students with disabilities, consistent with applicable laws and ICF accreditation requirements. Students seeking accommodations must notify LPI in writing as early as possible, providing appropriate documentation of the disability and the specific accommodation request. Requests will be evaluated on an individual basis in consultation with the student to ensure equal access to the program while maintaining program standards. LPI may request reasonable documentation of the disability to support the accommodation request, consistent with applicable laws.
14. Technology and Course Document Responsibility
Students are responsible for ensuring they have access to, and the ability to use, the basic technology required to participate in the program, including a reliable internet connection, a computer or device capable of joining online sessions, and basic digital communication tools such as email and video conferencing.
Students are also responsible for creating, saving, and submitting all required course documents (such as homework assignments and practice session documentation) in the formats specified by LPI. LPI does not provide individual technical training or support beyond standard access instructions for class sessions and materials.
Students are expected to seek any additional help or training they may need from external resources to effectively use their equipment, complete assignments, and submit documentation.
Failure to have or use the necessary technology, or failure to create and submit required documents as instructed, may impact participation and completion of program requirements; no refunds or exceptions will be made on this basis.
15. Acknowledgment of Policies
By signing this Agreement, the Student acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by all terms, conditions, and policies outlined herein, including attendance, conduct, payment obligations, and certification requirements.
